"A spell designed to draw forth only the most honourable and righteous heroes." [He reads the line with eyes downcast, before looking to the camera. There's amusement in his eyes, and a faint quirk to his mouth.] It's quite a lofty claim, isn't it? I wonder what mettle those of us 'magicdrafted' are made of. In fact, I confess, this is quite

Righteous, heh. Never mind the discussion of possibility... Different dimensions and alternate worlds have been discussed even in scientific circles for a while. I'm more wondering how the hell magic works. That- [ Gestures towards the chess pieces. ] -should be impossible without machinery.
So how do they move? One of those charms?

I wouldn't compare physicists to those types. And that's what I'm talking about. The thing is, science doesn't seem to explain some of the crap going on 'round here.

Being transferred to different worlds... that can be explained. You'd think it's impossible, but it's not. The other crap going on 'round here, well, that's a different story. And that's what's bugging me. Defying the laws of physics and such.
So the problem we got here is there's no consequence for all this screwing around that the magic's doing. The reason we even have the laws of physics is 'cause they're true. For every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction. Something cannot be made from nothing. And trying to explain it all away with "oh, well, it's magic" pisses me off.
