Something to think on before being classified as "bad" or "good," but it certainly has a greater potential harm.

Why?

There seems to be a natural bias in the material of this world. I was curious if that was affecting the students' opinion.

It would be unwise to let your opinions be swayed by those of a world you don't belong to. I have noticed the bias.

People are not always so wise to that. And not many have been exposed to magic to truly understand the spell doesn't decide whether it's used for good or evil.

I would think not having been exposed to this culture would lead to better understanding such topics.

Some have been. But the first to teach a fact has the most sway over how the person might be made to view that fact, since they know nothing to contradict it for certain.

I suppose if one doesn't know how to question.. what's the consensus? Do most people think as the ones here do?

It's amazing how prone people can be to that.

If the people who replied to this is a reliable sample? It's very reassuring, people seem to realize that it's the person, not the magic that would be evil.

That's a soothing thought, even if we do seem to be the unfortunate minority.

Yes, there is that. I can only wonder how long until some real students start to become bothered by all these 'guests.'

I've heard whisperings... on top of that, it does seem we're invading their school and receiving a degree of special treatment on top of that. I can hardly blame them.

We did get kidnapped. We only deserve a bit of special treatment since we never had a choice to be here.

I'm only seeing it from their point of view. Of course we deserve special treatment-- the majority of us, if not all, have zero idea what we're doing.

Hopefully they can do the same for us eventually.

But they are also mostly children.

A good number of people stolen are children, as well. [But then, after so long, nearly everyone is a child, to a nation]

And children are especially cruel to each other.
