All four seasons in the span of a year?

There is nothing to forgive, my lady. Westeros can be an unforgiving land at the best of times. However, while the winters may be long and harsh, the summers may also be equally long.

Our last summer lasted nine years. When I was brought here, we were in our second year of autumn.

[ To give no mention to the next winter that may very well be the last for many men. ]

Yours is truly a strange world. Although, in the south, some of our milder winters have been accompanied mainly by rainfall, particularly along the coastline. There is a reason my home region is called "The Stormlands".
