[ There's a lot of fiddling; poking. Static; even more fiddling. Until at one point Robb eventually drops the Commuter. The screen is faced upwards, revealing a portion of Robb's boots. What appears to be a wolf that is way to large for it's own good sniffing the device suspiciously. It then licks said device, you have a few seconds of direwolf

If only it had been Snow rather than Stark. For all the inconveience he caused, he had grown rather fond of the young Lord Commander. Lord Stark is another matter entirely. Instead of doing his duty and remaining in Winterfell where he was truly needed, he marched south and allowed the North to be ravaged by krakens, among others.
Not to mention that the boy's mere presence strangely unsettled him. Did Albus Dumbledore hold the power to make the dead walk again, or was this something else entirely?
He could only hope that Melisandre could provide a satisfactory explanation. ]

We are not to fight immediately, it would seem. You are to be educated in a style akin to that of the Maesters of the Citadel, Lord Stark.
In addition Lord Stark, I believe that once you are given a sigil here, you are obligated to serve under it, regardless of its association.
[ He almost feels something akin to pity for the boy, having to don such an ill-favored sigil (though the one true lion here was serving under the eagle). It had been a small favour that the "house" he had been assigned to at least had the same colours as his own (though the badger left something to be desired).
And then there was another matter entirely... Something he needed to know. If the dead can walk again... ]
What is the last event that you recall prior to your arrival?

- If we are not fighting immediately, then why has this sorcerer not summoned us then with a Raven and waited for one's consent. We cannot change our sigil?
[ He was not going to give information like that away so carelessly. Sorry, Stannis. ]
And who are you to ask that?

[ He could speak to the boy at greater length about the sigil, but there were other matters that required his attention first. ]

I am your lawful king, Lord of Winterfell. It would be wise to do as you are commanded.

Lawful King of the South, Lord Baratheon.
[ He says dangerously now. He has yet to meet them personally; but the glare makes him think Stannis instead of Renly. All he had heard of was that Renly was known for his arrogance. This man was careful. Robb had to put his guard up. ]
It would also be wise if you do not command me.

Last I understood, Westeros was but one kingdom with one King. I will ask you again. What is the last thing you recall prior to your arrival?
[ He had to know. If the time that passed mattered so little here... perhaps he could rest more easily knowing that the war would be waiting for him, as it was. ]

The North disagrees with that notion, Lord Baratheon, I suggest that is why they have made me king.
But to oblige your thoughts, I was in Riverrun with the King Slayer as captive. I had sent my Lady Mother to meet your brother for talks of peace; just as I had sent envoy to King's Landing and to Pyke.
I only wish for justice for my Lord Father and peace just as the next person.

He was not sure whether that was more comforting or not.
And for a moment, there is an unreadable expression that passes over his face. An envoy to Pyke. No doubt it was the Turncloak that murdered the two youngest Stark brothers. And the mention of Renly made him feel even less at ease.
If I were to tell him the truth of what came to pass for all of them, could I...
No. That was a foolish and childish thought. The past was over. Of the Five Kings, only he remained. Only he was left to fight the realm's war. ]
You will find no justice for your Lord Father, nor will you find peace. Nearly two years have passed since I met your lady mother and my brother at Storm's End.
[ He was blunt when he spoke. Traitor or no, the boy had a right to some of the truth. ]

- What happened in the two years then, Lord Baratheon?

Though were I to give you any sort of counsel, I would tell you that you have placed your faith in many false men. Particularly the Lords Frey and Bolton, and your supposed "envoy" to Pyke, whom I believe was Balon Greyjoy's sole surviving son. [ he clenched his jaw. ]
Though it would seem as though it would make little difference now. What has been done cannot be undone.

[ Robb wasn't entirely sure if the future Stannis was painting was true or a lie to further catch Robb off guard. Regardless of each possibility, he would take no chances. ]
[ His voice was suddenly more sullen then, he was momentarily lost in his thoughts before he managed to pull himself back to reality. This was a situation he could not handle with sword or talks of war. He felt his age wane on him. ]
Would you have the time to tell me this long tale, Lord Baratheon?
[ If I cannot change it; I should at least like to know where I had fallen, Robb thinks stubbornly. ]
