Where: Slytherin's table.
When: First Saturday of October.
Summary: Isidora agrees to meet her brother and Thomas for lunch (despite the nasty looks of her housemates).

"Hi Izzy," Thomas greeted, grinning at her from ear to ear. The look on her face clearly said she would rather be next to Peeves than eating a meal at the Slytherin table. And just looking around at the faces of his housemates, they seemed to all be thinking the same thing. "I think we are doing a lovely job of promoting house unity, don't you?" he said, his tone friendly, as they waited for the food to appear on the dishes in front of them.

"Hey Is", Sebastien replied to his sister, tugging uncomfortably on the sleeve of his left arm. he didn't feel comfortable hiding something as big from his sister, but then again, he was doing it to keep her safe. Laughing only half amused, Sebastien started serving himself of food as soon as the dishes were filled. "House unity? This situation is about as pleasant as swimming with the Giant Squid." He said. Thomas seemed to be the only one relatively fine with the situation.

Putting almost no food in her plate, Isidora stared at the two of them as if they were both insane. "Oh yes, house unity." She repeated, her voice dripping with sarcasm. Is had to agree with her brother, as unpleasant as that was.

Thomas rolled his eyes as he piled food onto his plate. It was clear that they were determined to make this meal as uncomfortable as possible. Thomas had had enough uncomfortable this week, what with hearing about Andromeda's journal entry (because he hadn't actually seen it; she charmed it once things got out of hand, so what he knew was just a summary given to him by a fourth year) and some of the Slytherins turning against each other because of it. "You are unbelievably dramatic. A Gryffindor, your sister," he said pointedly, "sitting at the Slytherin table is not the end of the world. You two need to stop acting like the sky is falling, because I hate to break it to you -- it isn't. If they don't like that we are spending quality time with you, Izzy, they don't have to look."

Breathing deeply, Seb decided it was better to act pleased that she was there with them. It wasn't that he didn't like it, but Sebastien prefered to keep his sister away from all Slytherins if he could.

"Yes, you are right, I'm sorry." He replied apologetically, attacking the food on his plate. Weekends made him particularly hungry, probably because he barely ate during weekdays. "You can eat, you know, Is." Seb pointed out after swallowing, looking at her plate. "Just because it's the Slytherin table doesn't mean the food is poisoned."

Isidora rolled her eyes once more, still loking unpleased. "Of course, whatever you say." She replied to Thomas' remark, shooting a look at her own table where most of the other fifth years were frowning at the scene. Deciding to ignore them, Izzy turned back to the table she was in and listened to her brother.

"I know it isn't poisoned, I'm just not hungry." Was her reply, before nibbling on a piece of carrot she had forked. "Anyway, how are the two of you?" Izzy asked, more out of politeness than anything else. She didn't care what they were doing and hoped the feeling was mutual.

Thomas had a mouthful of potatoes when she spoke, so it took him a moment to swallow and then shrug. "I'm fine," he said, helping himself to some of the roast beef while Sebastien responded to his sister. "How are you?" he asked after a moment, watching as she took a small bite of carrot. "Keeping busy?"

"You should eat anyway." Sebastien pointed out, only half-worried. It wasn't much like him to play the worried big brother part. In fact, he rarely did it at all, which somewhat annoyed and relieved Thomas (annoyed because his friend was so overprotective of his own sister he just couldn't understand how everyone else didn't act that way and relieved because it left Sebastien time to look after Victoria when he couldn't). "And stop playing with your food, it's not polite."

"I'm marvelous, really." Isidora replied, after swallowing a large gulp of pumpkin juice, which she didn't like but alas, it was the closest drink she could find. "I've been having my ups and downs but overall I'm just busy with homework. If you haven't noticed, there's no havoc breaking in the castle yet. I suppose neither me nor the Marauders have been feeling particularly creative."

Izzy did her best to keep a straight face and not to smirk, because she had already carefully outlined her next prank. "Why, thank you mum, didn't reckon putting your elbows on the table were polite either." She replied sarcastically and watched Sebastien uncomfortably remove his elbows off the table.
