What: Athelstan took something that doesn't belong to him, and Macnair would like it back, please.
Athelstan stalked through the dungeons like a cat, slinking around corners and taking great joy in startling the rats that ventured out of their nests once the stampeding feet of children vanished. Everyone would be at dinner, but Athelstan wasn't hungry. He was having too much fun playing cat and mouse with Macnair. Which was predator and prey? He couldn't say for sure. After all, are you really prey if you invite the hunter to the chase?
