I just had my anthropology midterm this morning, and I think I did pretty well on it. I stayed up most of the night, though, so I am very tired. I already had my Psych midterm a few weeks ago and I just got it back and I got an 86 on it -- that's a decent grade...I was kinda expecting a higher grade but whatevs. Hows are your going?
The only one I really had was one I had today, in history of Latin America. The professor gives us three what he calls I.D.'s, and we basically have to write everything we can spit back, who what where why how, and the importance of it. He gave us a list of twenty five and said I'll pick fourteen to go on the test and we answered three. They're worth 16.6 points each to equal 50, and the other fifty points is from an essay question which asked whether we thought religion or economics was more important to the spanish colonization of latin america. I didn't finish as the class is only 50 minutes long, and a lot of other students were finishing up at the last minute.
Economics. The Spanish were greedy and wanted money. They were caught up in the material. Some may have been interested in evangelizing, but I think at heart it was second but it justified their actions.
