I wrote these for
crimeinthelight and decided to post them here. I've never written drabbles. It was a new and fun experience for me. I think I'll keep doing this during my vacations. It'll be my new guilty pleasure. :)

As was usual, it was a hot and dry day in Vegas and Nick was talking, but Greg wasn’t listening. Nick was sucking a popsicle and Greg couldn’t stop gazing at him longingly. Greg had desired Nick so much and for so long and Nick teasing him so with that popsicle was a turn on for Greg.
He imagined caressing Nick’s lips and wondered how sweet Nick’s lips would taste after sucking that popsicle. He imagined scratching and biting Nick’s body. All Greg wanted to do was to pin Nick on the wall and taste every inch. He envisioned a breathless Nick whispering his name.
“Greg, Greg…Greggo!”
Greg jumped from his seat and realized that Nick was right next to him, smiling. “Let’s see, wandering look, smile on your face, and…red ears. By the looks of it, you were daydreaming about either something very good, or naughty.”
Greg blushed. “How did you…?”
Nick interrupted him. “We’re CSIs. We are supposed to notice everything. So, what, or who were you thinking about?”
Greg looked up at Nick and gave him a mischievous and devilish smile. “Nothing Nick. Nothing at all.”

AUTHOR'S NOTE: Prompt used was ‘pride.’
Nick entered the locker room and saw Sara and Greg. Sara was packing her things to leave, and Greg was looking at a mirror he had on his locker door, fixing his hair.
“Hey, your spiked hair is back!” exclaimed Nick.
“Yup! Going to the dance floor tonight and I need to look good.”
Nick and Sara simultaneously checked Greg out. He was all dressed in black, had some eyeliner on, and his hair was spiky and fashionable.
“Think you’re going to score with some hot girls with that costume?” joked Sara.
“Think? No, Sara. I am. You see, I, am a handsome, young, single man who is terrific on the dance floor and has an excellent butt.”
Nick sighed and shook his head, while Sara laughed a little. “If you want to believe that, good for you.”
Nick smiled and sat on the bench while he finished packing his things too. “Believe it or not, I am desired by many people. If you’re not one of those people it’s your loss,” Greg told them cockily.
“And I’m sure I’ll be regretting it for the rest of my life,” Sara said sarcastically.
Greg gave the last touch on his hair and closed the locker. “See you tomorrow, guys.”
Nick looked at Greg one last time and said, “Say, Greg, isn’t loving yourself too much a sin?”
“Yeah, pride. It’s the worst of the seven deadly sins,” interjected Sara.
Greg looked at Nick and said, “So what. You love me just the way I am.” Greg winked at Nick, chuckled, and left to have some fun.
Making sure that no one was listening to him; Nick said almost to himself, “Yeah, I do.”

Sara couldn’t stand watching them together, but she couldn’t help it. What could she do when she was in love with a taken man? She watched Catherine caressing Grissom’s cheek and landing a soft kiss on his lips. Sara’s insides were burning. Why couldn’t she be Catherine?
Catherine had good looks, got along with people, and had a great man, the greatest man by her side. Even though she knew Catherine was a great person and an excellent CSI, she hated her. She hated Catherine because she was good at everything. Sara hated her because she was a strong woman, yet kept her femininity intact.
But most of all, she hated Catherine because Sara wasn’t her. Catherine had what Sara always wanted…but knew she will never have…
