ABOUT YOUR CHARACTER

GENERAL

[Name:] Trucy Wright

[Age:] 14

[Gender:] Female

[Marital Status:] Single (come on, guys, she's 14)

[Sexuality:] Straight

[Occupation:] Super-duper CEO of Wright Talent Agency, extremely magical Magician Extraordinaire.

CONNECTIONS

[Family:]

Phoenix Wright: Her adoptive father. Trucy was adopted by him when she was eight. She loves Phoenix as if he was her real father, even though she seems to be more parental towards him a lot of the time. Trucy promises to keep her daddy fed and take care of him (since he is obviously hopeless without her), which includes keeping his grape juice intake under control. (it's not good for you, daddy~) Phoenix and Trucy often seem more like best friends than father and daughter, teaming up with a two-man comedy routine. But Phoenix loves the little light of his life, and would do anything for her.

Zak Gramarye: Trucy's real father. He had to leave her when she was eight because of him being involved in a murder case, and Phoenix adopted her soon after. When she was little, she thought he might come back, but she later accepted that her real daddy wasn't returning. Trucy still really admires him, and she doesn't hold anything against him for leaving.

Valant Gramarye: Valant isn't related to Trucy, but she calls him her Uncle Valant. Since her father, mother, and grandfather are all gone, she thinks of him as a connection to her old life in the Troupe Gramarye. Trucy loves Valant, primarily because he's a magician, and goes to all of his shows. When Trucy was little, he gave her a pet bunny, and she's kept it ever since.

[Friends:]

Pearl Fey: Trucy and Pearl are best buddies forever! They hang out together all the time, and Trucy loves being around her (even if she's a little formal and serious sometimes). They sleep over at each other's houses frequently, staying up super late and just having fun together. Pearl is also kind of a tether for Trucy sometimes, so that Trucy doesn't do anything crazy.

Wocky Kitaki: He and Trucy have been friends since they were little kids, and Wocky, Trucy and Pearl make the perfect trio of buddies. They'll hang out together whenever they can, and Trucy doesn't mind a bit that he's such a gangster.

Guy Eldoon: Trucy and her daddy visit Eldoon's noodle stand all the time, and she is very fond of him. He was her doctor when she was younger, and while she doesn't really get (or care) about his career change, Trucy thinks it's very cool that he's upholding the family tradition.

[Enemies:] Pff. Trucy doesn't have enemies.

[Other:]

Iris: Trucy was rather sad when Iris and Phoenix ended their relationship, since she really liked Iris and was hoping that she would be her mommy. Trucy hasn't heard from Iris in a long time, and she kind of wonders what she's up to these days. Trucy still doesn't get why Iris and her daddy broke up.

Diego Armando: He's Pearl's daddy, and also apparently an old friend of her daddy's, so Diego's A-OK in her book!

Miles Edgeworth: Since Mr. Edgeworth and Phoenix don't see much of each other, Trucy hasn't seen him for a long time. But he's still cool!

CHARACTER

[General personality:]

Trucy is the perfect stage performer! She's bouncy, outgoing, brave, and forever thinking up some trick to impress the audience with. Seriously, she isn't intimidated by anything. This may or may not be because of her unfamiliarity with "normal life". I mean, if you grow up in a troupe of magicians and then live with a guy like Phoenix, you're prepared for anything. Trucy approaches everything with a wide open mind.

Forever the optimist, Trucy doesn't let anything bother her. While this may make her seem cold or uncaring, especially in situations when something or someone important to her is lost, she actually is very bothered by it. She just doesn't want other people to be sad because she is. But most of the time, her cheeriness cheers everyone else up, too. Trucy isn't one to hold a grudge, either.

Her fearlessness and energy mixed with curiosity often get her into a huge pile of trouble, sticking her nose in other people's business. Trucy doesn't mean to be interfering, though! She's just interested in everything; especially being a magician. Her time with the Troupe Gramarye has made her a great talent. Trucy's ability to "percieve" helps her out onstage and off, allowing her to tell when people are very nervous or just plain liars. She's always thinking up new tricks, even if they seem a little weird. Trucy is very irritated when people don't take her professionalism seriously.

Even though she's an intelligent girl, school is one of her weaknesses. Trucy hadn't even gone to a real school before Phoenix adopted her, and she finds it intensely boring. Since she already knows exactly what she's going to do with her life, Trucy doesn't do especially well and can't wait to be finished with the entire deal. Most of her evenings are spent helping her daddy with poker or performing at the Wonder Bar, and this doesn't leave too much time for homework. Art and math are really the only two classes that she can sort of stand: art because she's already good at hand-making things for her show, and math because she loves logic and puzzles. School is also hard because it's very hard to find common interests with her classmates, leading her to make more friendships with adults or the more "interesting" people (like Pearl or Wocky).

Trucy also likes pudding.

[Background:]

Zak and Thalassa Gramarye are Trucy's real parents, two members of the incredible Troupe Gramarye. Thalassa was killed in an accident during rehearsal when Trucy was three, so she doesn't remember her very well. In fact, the only thing she has to remember her mother by is a locket with Thalassa's picture in it. Trucy tried to learn as much about being a magician as she could, and loved being a member of the troupe. But that all changed when her father, Zak, was accused of murdering her grandfather. She helped him flee before he was found guilty, and he hasn't been seen since.

After that ordeal, Phoenix adopted her and she moved in with him. His boring law office was soon transformed into the illustrious Wright Talent Agency, and she's been running it ever since. Trucy doesn't miss her old life; Phoenix and her have a new life together. She now performs at the Wonder Bar every evening (along with her magic panties), and is always busy with magic, the agency, and spending quality time with the most important people in her life.
