Do you know the feeling of getting mail (apart from bills and ads)? It makes me feel special, I love touching what the other person reserved some time making and sending, I like looking at it after and use it as bookmarks.

Hi :)
I just read your description and thought you were pretty interesting. I love how you know what you want and that you want to take your parents on a helicopter ride, that's really nice. Well, we might not share a lot of interests (when we reduce that to what I got to know about your interests in that little I've read about you now), but I also like the Percy Jackson series and would just love to be pen pals if it's ok for you that I'm only 18 because I always get super excited when I receive letters and know how good it makes people feel :)

Oh well, I was so excited about telling you what I thought of your description that I totally forgot to introduce myself a little more, so you at least get an idea of what kind of person I am!
Anyway, my name's Friederike, but really anyone just calls me Fridde. I'm from Germany and still attend high school (I'll graduate in May 2011 though) and try to figure out what I want to do after my graduation, so I can apply at universities and colleges and study what I enjoy. Once a week after school I work at a really small company and upload articles and update that company's website with events and design websites (so web and graphic design is what I like, but I'm not sure if that's what I want to be a professional for).
I love music and listen to pretty much everything, but my favourites are The Hoosiers, All Time Low, Paramore, Christina Milian, Kate Nash, You Me At Six and the Jonas Brothers (they just started to grow on me actually, haven't been interested in them before). I like watching movies like Armageddon and the Pirates of the Caribbean series and well, I already told you I liked Percy Jackson, didn't I?
Oh, and I'm not sure if you've already noticed it, but I LOVE English :D

AWESOME! Let's be penpals! Who should start? You? Me? I don't care who! In fact, I could start writing during my lunch and tell you about the craziness that is my personal life LOL

Also, in these little 'describe yourself' boxes, I NEVER COVER EVERYTHING, LOL, so now I'm realizing I left out LADY GAGA as music love, or that I love writing poetry and photographing weddings or visiting museums and give/receive massages :D

Yes, I'm sure :D I know you didn't put up any requirements, but since you told everyone your age, I thought you should at least know what's my age :) And besides that, I've already met people who DID care about the age and didn't want to meet any younger persons.

You can start if you want and start writing during your lunch! Gosh, I'm so excited :D

So do I, Lady Gaga's really cool, although sometimes I need some time to get used to her songs, but her music is so extremely catchy!
