Summary: Cause there are times when big problems have really simple solutions.
A/N: I was bored :| This is my first time posting a fanfic so comments would be great. :P BTW, Alex is Jin's daughter :D
“Let me see,” Den said, as she took the thermometer from Jin’s mouth. “38.2. You’ve definitely got a fever.” She confirmed. All Jin could do was grunt in reply. To say he felt bad would be an understatement. His head was pounding like crazy, his whole body hurt and he was feeling really hot. “I’ll go get some medicine and some food so you’ll feel better. Just stay there.” His wife said. Well, he wasn’t going anywhere anytime soon.
Den came back into the room holding a tray with a bowl of soup and a cup of water. She helped Jin sit up then she held up a spoonful of soup in front of him. Jin just shook his head and closed his eyes.
“Jin…you have to eat. You can’t drink medicine if you don’t eat. Please…It’ll help you feel better.”
But still, Jin wouldn’t eat. He didn’t feel like it. He felt that if he ate anything he wouldn’t be able to hold it in. “Jin…Please…” Den said with a pout. Jin just remained as he was and showed no intention of eating.
“Okay ,if you don’t want to eat now then this can wait. For now why don’t you just sleep for a while then maybe you’ll feel like eating after you wake up.”
Den fixed his pillow and helped him lie down. Soon, he fell into a dreamless sleep. He was woken up by a cold towel being put on his forehead. He weakly pushed it away as he whispered out “C-cold…”
“You have to at least keep this on. You’ll never get better if you don’t” Den said disapprovingly. And Jin just gave up the argument and left the cold towel alone. He once again drifted of into a blissful sleep.
“DADDDDDDDDDDYYYYY!!!! MOMMMMMMMYYYY!!!” Alex screamed at the top of her lungs. She just came home from school and she wanted to see her parents. NOW. Den came down the stairs. “SHH!! Be quiet baby…Daddy’s sleeping”
“Why is Daddy sleeping? It’s like 12 in the afternoon…Daddy’s too old to take afternoon naps.”
“Daddy’s not feeling well”
“Daddy’s sick?” Alex asked with a pout.
“Yeah. Daddy’s sick and he needs to rest so you have to be quiet.”
“Can Alex see Daddy?”
“But…I don’t want you getting sick too…”
“Please mommy…I promise I won’t make a sound. I’ll be really quiet. I swear.”
“Alright but you can’t stay too long.”
Alex immediately ran up to her parents’ room and pushed open the big white door and peeked inside the huge bedroom. “Daddy…” She whispered. She entered the room making sure to make as little noise as possible. She saw her Daddy lying in bed buried under the sheets. She made her way on to the bed then gave her Daddy a kiss on the forehead. “Alex…” Jin muttered. “I’m here Daddy” Alex replied as she gave her Daddy a hug. Jin slowly opened his eyes and looked at his adorable little daughter. “What are you doing here buddy?”
“I’m helping Daddy feel better.” She said as she planted another kiss on his forehead. A wide smile crept up on Jin’s lips. Seeing his daughter like this somehow made him feel better. “Are you hungry daddy?” Alex asked. “Uh-huh. I’m really hungry…” Jin replied.
Den, who was watching the two, just smiled. Jin maybe stubborn when he’s sick…but all it takes is Alex and he’s all better. “I couldn’t wish for a better family…” She whispered as she made her way to get some food for the two most important people in her life.
