I know it's against the code of online conduct to make multiple posts in a single day, so I waited until 12:20 for this one.

Here's some video of Steve Jobs introducing the Macintosh for the first time, back in 1984. Chariots of Fire plays triumphantly in the background, with twinkly keyboards emphasizing the futuristic technology that is being unveiled. A panorama of the night sky is surreally adorned in neon cursive with the words "Insanely Great!" The crowd cheers for the Chess program, and the coup de grace - Jobs stepping aside and allowing the computer to address the crowd with one-liners - must have been a meta-orgasmic experience for those attending.

How high modern expectations are.
