Gun, Lull Arabia
That's an anagram for "inaugural ball". I'm not sure if there's much meaning behind it, and it probably would diminish matters further if I mentioned that "Anal Lug Burial" can be made from the same letters.
It seems it would be pretty apparent to anyone with the slightest sense of priority that Americans should forgo a lavish

Ms. Quinn,
I am writing in reference to your much-discussed exchange with Judy Bacharach over Bush's inaugural festivities, and I come to you, not as a liberal or conservative, but as an American citizen concerned about the state of news broadcasting in his own country.
Judy launched a barrage of valid complaints concerning the excess and bombast displayed by the Republicans in assembling this morally reprehensible fanfare in a time of war. Regardless of your political persuasion, as obvious as it may be, you must realize that the common American has the faculty to put two and two together regardless of how hard the FOX news contingent tries to seperate them. Indeed, Bush's approval rating was in the forties at the time of the inauguration, and I'm sure you'd be hard-pressed to find me a moment where your station made mention of it.
The core argument here is that this event was put together using taxpayers' dollars: a distressing notion when one considers the threadbare state our military is in, or the exigency of the recent tsunami situation. It was apparent from your fumbling that you were inable to make a cogent counterargument; it was even more apparent that, near the end of Judy's segment, you lost your cool as a broadcaster and allowed your personal pecadillos to dictate the tone of the discussion. If you believe that this is what a news station should be broadcasting, rather than impartially reporting the news, then you are consciously contributing to the moral dereliction of this country, and assisting in the rapid dismantling of intelligent political debate. I find that to be absolutely unpatriotic; your intolerance for dissent bespeaks a basic inability to defend yourself against dissenters.
You were upstaged by your guest, and I am certain that, guest by guest, (unless you only feature right-wing loyalists) you will continue to experience a maddening, rapid descent into a painful world of humility at the hands of a public increasingly aware of the hypocrisy of Bush's administration. Keep in mind that Republican administrations come and go, and, although you may be making a truckload of cash right now, your credibility is nearing zero with non-FNC viewers. Shameless pandering for a political party, masquerading as "Fair and Balanced" (I know it's an obsolete slogan now) discourse, will only buy you the resentment of your peers and a sour mention in the chronicles of American history. There is only so long one can hide in a fantasy world of one's own creation, where America may unilaterally strike at anyone it pleases, build up stockpiles of nuclear weapons and scoff at the U.N. and simultaneously target other countries who behave in such a brazen manner as "terrorist states," or "threats to freedom." Questioning such hypocrisy does not make me liberal, just as questioning the Bush inauguration doesn't make Judy Bacharach guilty of sedition - I'm sure you can agree with that logic.
FOX will only continue to further alienate its viewers, reminding them that their news department is fully owned, staffed and operated by partisan polemicists - not independent, well-informed journalists. It's out in the open, now. FOX news has become a joke; a laughing-stock, as evidenced by how widely circulated the video clip of your impromptu debate has become. Are you familiar with the history of Pravda?
Yes, it is wonderful that we live in a free country where free speech is tolerated. However, you have a responsibility to uphold such ideals; I'm sure you believe you're a patriot for your pro-Bush opinions, but Americans expect you to defend your opinions with logic, not acrimony. You subsist within a plastic bubble of right-wing rhetoric, as far as FOX goes, but when free speech ultimately prevails, you will be forced to examine your own misguided opinions a bit more deeply than your pocketbook's girth.
It's time for you to start walking the walk or the honest, hardworking people of America - the ones who just want to be told the truth already - will reject you and keep walking without you.
