I'm cheap. I'm 17, don't have a job, survive entirely on an allowance, and like to spend that money. It doesn't go far. Therefore, I am cheap. Coupons are my friend, and Google helps to find those friends.
I wanted Lost Season 4 on DVD. I searched for the list price, and lo, cried Google, it is $59.99. "But no!", I sobbed, "I can't afford that! Amazon, my friend, what sayeth you?"
"I loveth you dearly. Give me $36.99."
"NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!"
"Yes."
"Fine, do you have any coupons?"
"...No."
This continued for a while, and I was about ready to submit to Amazon with their free shipping (though it's kind of slow at times) until I remembered I had a $15 Barnes and Noble gift card. AHA!
B&N has Lost S4 for $41.99. Would be in the $20s for me, not including tax, and they have free 3-day shipping, hurrah.
But then I was all "Can I spend even less?" and Google fervently answered, "YES."
10% off coupon! YAY!
And then I found out they have an automatic 5% discount for AAA members (my parents), which was upgraded to 10% for the holidays. Used that too, and I found myself paying $21.06 for the entire season 4 of Lost. HA.
...I like not spending money.
OH AND WE GOT DARK KNIGHT. I watched it again. STILL SO GOOD. And Richard Alpert!Mayor is still very very very sexy. Omfg want.
