Lovely Christmas Presents

Dec 25, 2010 23:52

I didn't really get that much in the way of Christmas presents last year, being as I was in New Zealand and all, so Christmas presents this year were extra exciting to me. I have received...

- Ellie Goulding's album Bright Lights on CD. This is very good for me as I have been playing the normal version of Lights almost non stop since July and am very happy to have the bonus tracks, as well as a physical copy of the original songs.
- Two mini boxsets of Katharine Hepburn movies. I love old movies.
- A giant box of Soap and Glory toiletries. Yum.
- Penguin pj bottoms, penguin socks and a penguin wheat bag soft toy. Yes I do love penguins.
- Cozy slipper boots.
- Yummy goodies, including the usual chocolate coins, chocolate Santa, Haribo, German Christmas chocolates, winter spice hot chocolate, chocolate spice chai tea (complete with tea strainer), Kinder happy hippos, toffee apple cider, and possibly some other things I've forgotten about.
- Some other really nice toiletries, including very edible smelling hot fudge bath syrup. Nom.
- £100 from my Grandad. ♥

There are also tickets to go see the Glee tour in June, although I have yet to clarify if that is part of my Christmas present or if I am paying for that separately.

All in all, including the things I'm sure I've forgotten to mention, it has been a very good Christmas. We went to the cathedral last night for carols, which was lovely, and then we've had an amazing Christmas dinner today, cooked by Alex, followed by an evening of games. Good times.
