Today I climbed up a glacier.
Ohmygosh, it's been such a hectic couple of weeks! Stephanie and I have been traversing the wilds and not so wilds of New Zealand on the Stray bus and have barely had time to breathe, let alone sleep. Still, we have had time for some pretty damn cool activities, including parasailing in the Bay of Islands (!), caving and blackwater rafting in Waitomo (!!), sandboarding in Cape Reinga (!!!), spotting seals and kiwis, soaking up the culture at a Maori marae, and experiencing some bubbling geothermal hot pools. And today, we did a full day hike on Franz Josef! And I have to say, I'm exhausted and slightly sore. But it was brilliant.
