Ah, so this is why I don't have a laptop
Laptop keyboards are hard to type on! Although this could just be because the computer's up too high for me to get a good angle. :)
Thought maybe some of you might be interested in hearing what I've been up to recently, as I mentioned a few things in my last couple of entries that were a bit contextless.
Last weekend I went to Birmingham to see exhousemate Stephanie (Stephanie is also who I went to visit in France). It ws all a bit last minute, as we only discussed it on the thursday night, and by saturday morning I was on the train. It was a really great weekend! We went out for food, went dancing at Flares, went shopping... oh, and I introduced her to High School Musical. And if that in itself wasn't funny enough, we proceeded to do the dancealongs in her living room. So funny.
This week has been quite by really. I completed my Spanish course on monday, and so on tuesday night we (as in me and some of the people from my Spanish class) went out for some tapas at a Spanish restaurant on West Street. Wednesday night I was in Mappin for a bit, using the computers, and then thursday was my day of awesomeness at work and an evening in the IC. Yesterday at work was rubbish, and then I got the train home last night.
Speaking of home... I can't believe in around five weeks time I'm going to be here *full time* again! I can't believe I'm leaving Sheffield! But it has to be done... I mean, if I stay in Sheffield I stay in my crappy job in the Civil Service, and I don't want to wake up one day and realise I'm thirty and still in the same low paid job. Because it would be so easy to do that. Also, there's no point in me getting a house in Sheffield for another year as I only intend to be in this country until februry, and then I'm off on my travels. It's juat all moving so quickly at the moment, it's a little scary!
Right, so I have been tapping away on mum's laptop for long enough now. Will be back soon with more babble. :)
