You see, the Nexus is a big place. Huge, in fact, to the point of its bigness being perfection, in such an utterly chaotic way.
Which brings us to this area. Far, far, off the beaten path, possibly because this area is a slightly-less-stable spot to the Nexus. Wide and expansive, this area is home to portals that appear and disappear randomly, as well as screwing with most sensory devices and abilities.
It's the aforementioned unstable-formation of this area that it's probably the reason why there's a sudden blast of dark power in a forward direction, literally tearing open a portal in time, and sending an individual through before it collapses behind her.
"WHOO. That was a smoother trip than last time. I gotta be getting better at this." She grins behind her facemask, perhaps unaware that karma is about to get a last laugh indeed.
