Well. I could. Can't exactly say I can when I'm stuck in this place.

How did that work?

[magicalesbian]

The pendant I use to transform has the ability to travel between worlds! To be honest, I'm not entirely sure how it works yet, but I know some really powerful magic is involved.

Can you control which worlds you go to?

[magicalesbian]

If I can picture that world strongly in my mind or if I'm holding something that comes from that world, I can. It can be pretty hard to go to a world I've never been to otherwise.

... Is it common for objects to cross over to your world?

[magicalesbian]

Oh, not at all! I mean. I assume my pendant crossed over from another world, but usually I just take something small with me whenever I leave.

Otherwise, whenever I go to a new world, it's just random.

I suppose that makes sense. Why do you go to other worlds?

[magicalesbian]

Being a magical girl isn't as easy as it looks. To me, at least.

I travel to different worlds to try and find out more about how my powers work. Some worlds are more helpful than others, but I've found out more that way than just trial and error on my own.

I guess that's one way of putting it. But it's not really me I'm out to discover. Just the magic I happened to find.

Do you consider that magic separate from yourself?

[magicalesbian]

Considering I have to transform to use it, saying it's separate just makes more sense.

[Even though it quite literally isn't separate from her, even when she's normal.]

I suppose it might. But you said not even you can escape this place, right? Seems like your journey might be on hold for a while.

[magicalesbian]

Maybe I'll get lucky and find something in the library. Do you suppose they have a section on magical girls? [...] An academic one. I don't want to know what else they might have on the subject.
