Chillaxin
Well I have to say this has been a very relaxing and battery-recharging kind of weekend. Just what I needed after the week from hell I had. On Saturday, I took the kids to Care Bears Live. It was cute and fun, my sister and I used to adore Care Bears so, it was a walk down memory lane for me, and my son kept saying over & over "This is so cool! I can't believe it!"
My daughter has a "baby" that's a Care Bear, Love-A-Lot, I think. It's purple and has two hearts on his tummy. Anyway, Harmony Bear was on stage and she's purple so my daughter thought it was her "baby" and was thrilled.
Yes, I know most of the Care Bears by name. Shut up. Overall, it was fun to see them enjoy themselves and have a good time.
Today we went to get my daughter a new swim suit and some float rings for the both of them. Then we came home and swam in the pool for about an hour. When we got out, we had lunch and then ice cream cones. Nice, very, very nice. I'm sporting something of a sunburn now, but at least I look alive now. I have to say, I wish all my weekends could be like this. I'm off to chill on the couch now with the kids, watch some Rescue Heroes or Little Bear or something.
Edit It's not Love-A-Lot, I just realized after I posted. Love-A-Lot is pink. My daughter's Care Bear is Share Bear, the purple one with the two heart/lollipop thingies on his tummy. Oh shut UP!
