So I'd heard a lot of good things about this book and finally decided to check it out, and let me tell you, I twas not disappointed! The story it set around a post-apolcalyptic zombie-riddled world, which is one of my favorite movie genres. The author creates an intricate, mysterious world where so many things have been forgotten and strange new customs have begun to be enforced.
The main character was interesting though I can't quite decide if I liked her or not. She was horribly selfish and I felt bad for Travis and Harry, who really deserved better than her. Even Cass should have gotten better than getting jerked around like that. Anyway, it was a fascinating book and quite deep for a young adult novel.
The story kept up a very mysterious and tension-filled tone the entire time and I thoroughly enjoyed the novel. There were, of course, some questions left unanswered, such as things about the Sisterhood and wtf all the fences were about, but it I found the ending rather satisfying, nonetheless.
A good read overall and I reccomend it to anyone who likes a good zombie-apocalypse movie.
