Sharp Teeth & the Good Thief
So I just finished reading The Good Thief by Hannah Tinti and I have to say, I was rather impressed! It was a lovely story, though I wonder why the mouse-trap owner talked like a hick when the orphans didn't, but whatever. I thought it was a very clever and kind of heart warming story. I kept waiting for something supernatural to happen, but I suppose that's just because I've been reading too many fantasy books. Benji was a very appealing character, I really liked him. :)
Anyway, during spring break I read Sharp Teeth by Toby Barlow. I've gotta say, it's an AMAZING book. I was a bit leery of it being written entirely in free verse, but really, once I started, it was just incredible. I'm not sure how to explain it, but I hugely recommend it! It had some really wonderful moments and beautiful lines that was simply stunning!
