Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows

Firstly, I'd like to say that this was my favorite book out of all of them. It was completely awesome and blew me so far out of the water I was having trouble breathing in the thin atmosphere. The action, the drama, and the wonderful portrayal of human emotions was exquisite. The final volume of Harry Potter completely exceeded my expectations and I was left enthralled from beginning to end.

EDIT: Well, of course, the Epilogue left something to be desired... Or undesired. I wish it were wpied off the face of the planet or something. Also, please note that this was written after hours of tirelss reading into the night and a great amount of over-excitement and that I actually found a great deal of flaws and such with the book, but I'm too lazy to write them up now...

I'd like to say that all the deaths left me very touched. The Notable mentions perhaps being Dobby, Remus, Tonks, and Fred. I don't know why, but Dobby's death touched me, especially with the way Harry wanted to bury him with hiw own hands. Remus and Tonks's death was sad because they were leaving behind a newborn son, of all things! It also made me a bit sad to see the last of the Marauders die... And Fred's death was rather tragic, in my opinion, as the twins shared a very close and special bond... And, well... George was already missing an ear. Farewell to me favorite Weasley pair!

I was rather surprised with how interesting Dumbledore's life was. I really liked readinga bout him, to my great surprise. It was interesting to learn about his friendship with Grindelwald, not to mention his estranged brother (whom I always suspected would reappear) and his half-crazy sister. I liked the look we had in on his life.

Along with that, I tip my hat to the LilyxSnape supporters for their perfectly canon pairing. I liked this section as well, and it left me loving Snape far more than when the series began. It was incredibly touching, and I loved th epart where Albus says that sometimes he thinks they do the Sorting too early. Absolutely wonderful! Snape's devotion was wonderful, and I enver pictured them as childhood friends. Not only that, but Tuney (the never-imagined-before-in-the-history-of-fanfiction nickname of Petunia) was portrayed very well, and I really felt how sad she was to have not been granted the gift of magic.

I really loved the adventureous-ness of the book, as well. While the past had benn well, a little more school-life-oriented, this was all out adventuring across England. I think it was a brilliant take on Ron's personality to have him run out of them, and I think the Horcrux illustrated some of the many insecurities that any human would have had in that situation.

Overall, I absolutely loved this book! A+++!
