The Magic in Shakespeare - Talk given at the Moot With No Name by Alison Rockbrand 23rd April 2008.

Who was William Shakespeare, and what was his world view on the occult?  On the 444th anniversary of the Bard’s birth Alison Rockbrand discusses the identity of England’s greatest playwright and the magical and esoteric symbols in his plays, revealing themes of astrology, herbalism, alchemy, sorcery and black magic, antinomianism, fairies, ghosts, religion and superstition.  Alison is the director of Travesty Theatre.

An invitation to the above event dropped into my Facebook in-box. I'm liking Facebook for this kind of thing as I am friended there to a number of folk from the London occult scene. We can't go to this event but it's still nice to be asked and to hear about what is going on. I do wish some of those going were on LJ and would do reports on what was said. I may post to the events and request a review/summary.

Maybe in the future we can have live-streaming from places like this and Treadwells' talks.
