[The evening after having seeing Fate off, Nanoha was wistful, lying on a picnic blanket on the grass outside the grounds of the GDF base, humming slowly to herself ((Imagine slow Make a Little Wish)) as she stared up at firework like colorful lights exploding in the sky ( Read more... )

[Not really surprised by the fireworks. It was Nanoha, after all.]

Oh, captain Takamachi.
Good evening.

Hello, Teana. How are you this evening?

Referring to offscreen things, if you don't mind - I already assume we went through them by now. cantbeatnanoha March 3 2010, 05:49:58 UTC
I'm alright. Feeling satisfied and... well, sane: I don't think the whole situation, with the training incident and all, is going to repeat itself for a while. Not after the talk we had.

Oh, right! I don't think I had a chance to thank you for that.

[Looks at the fireworks show]

Raging Heart... really is something, isn't it?

That's cool. magical_lyrical March 3 2010, 05:53:57 UTC
I'm relieved; you don't need to thank me. It's my responsibility to teach you.

[Raging Heart speaks up at the compliment.] THANK YOU.

[This sentence aimed at Raging Heart] Congratulations on a job well-done. Remain a loyal partner to miss Takamachi. Just like Cross Mirage is to me.

I see. Well, I still feel like I should thank you. It's your responsibility to teach, but it's also my responsibility to listen to what you have to say. And I... not always did that.

So, thank you captain.

I realized something recently.
Here, in GDF, there's a lot of people. Not all of them are mages, nor they are Newtypes, Coordinators or have any other unusual talents. Many of them are just everyday, usual persons.

But it doesn't mean they're not tryig their best to protect what's dear to them. And because of training and determination, but mostly because they work as a team: they often succeed.

Well, of course having a giant robot also helps.

[Nanoha listens to Teana, smiling a little, nodding.]

It all starts with determination, and with teamwork, they can become more than they each are one their own.

Also...
Lt Katina Tarask is really hard to beat in hand-to-hand.

Do you require more hand to hand combat training?

No, Teana wants to LIVE cantbeatnanoha March 3 2010, 19:05:54 UTC
Ack!

Well, I need to cover my weaknesses, but I think I'm improving with that already, so...
I guess what we already have is enough.

Hmm, your team working is improving... while it is Subaru and Vitas position to keep the enemy off of you, maybe we should do some exercises to prepare for the possibility of separation...

Well... if you believe I need to work on that, I really am in no position to disagree. You are the instructor after all, captain!

I should be able to survive this.
