Thus far this summer has been a most enjoyable one!
Amane, it has been so lovely you staying with me and I simply can't wait to go with Allen and Mr. Cross to Australia! I have heard some frightening things though about spiders and snakes. Do you think we'll be alright?
Ah, I'm sure we can trust Allen though and oh, I'm so not looking forward to the beginning of school! I know I said differently at the end of term but I have changed my mind! Far too much fun is being had!
I have also begun to ponder a rather curious contradiction. Concerning cats and buttered toast, I have always heard that cats land on their feet (Dinah has proved this to me several times over) and I have proven too (through a series of purely accidental circumstances) that when one drops buttered toast it always seems to land on the the buttered side. So, if one were to tie a bit of buttered toast to their cat's back...which end would end up on the floor? I would like to experiment but I suspect Mother might lecture me for wasting food and I don't really want to hurt Dinah...
