Hermione smiled as Fred pulled her into her arms, wrapping her arms around her and resting her head against her. "I've never really had a girl as a friend either. At least not like this," she told her. "I mean, I was friends with Ginny, but my best friends were Harry and Ron, and I spent most of my time with them. This is a lot different. And really nice."
It was true because not only was Fred her lover, but she also felt that she was her friend. It was a great feeling to have.
When Fred said thank you for the dress, she gave her a kiss. "You're welcome," she told her before reaching up to touch her face then went back over to her stuff and finished getting ready, making sure her own dress was on right and then slipping on her shoes. After she pulled her hair up off her neck, she tucked her wand up her sleeve, then turned back to Fred with a smile.
"I'm ready," she told her, walking over and taking her hand. Suddenly, a thought crossed her mind, and her eyes opened wide. "Were we supposed to bring a gift for them? Do we need to stop somewhere on the way?"
