Writer's Block: Take Your Chances

Every time Ive given  a second chance, I've regretted it.  One thing you have to remember is that there is a really good reason why they didn't make it through the first chance. Don't forget that!  Of course absence makes the heart grow fonder, so people tend to forget the reasons why they split.  That betrayal doesn't disappear because they say they are sorry.  Honestly, I don't think second chances are anything other than a chance to screw you a second time.  I know from personal experience cause I always manage to be stupid enough to give second chances.  A mistake I intend to remedy!
