-Sometimes it bothers me how much I know about the Jonas Brothers. How I listen to a song and know "Oh, this is about that girl". I don't need to know that. I don't need to know what any song is about because I will listen to it and create my own story, my own idea. It doesn't really matter if it's correct or not. It's what that song means to me.
I suppose it's not really that big of a deal with JB, because it's not like I think their music is breathtaking and wonderful. I think it's good, and catchy, but I don't think any of the songs will stay with me. I tend to forget about them if I don't listen regularly.
But then again some songs would mean nothing if I didn't know the story behind it. Like A little bit longer is an amazing song because you know about Nick's diabetes and he sings it with such feeling. It is breathtaking simply because of Nick's feelings being pored into the song.
But it's just so much crap when people are complaining about people making "fake" music that means nothing. Because if it means something to you, then what does it matter what it means to the songwriter?
-I am very excited about Demis upcoming album. I listen to her old one a lot, but I'm convinced this one will be better. And if she has worked with John Mayer, as well as William Becket, then nothing can go wrong.
-I have a minor crush on McFly right now. It makes me happy when Demi and Tom tweet each other (how did those two meet?) and Danny is adorable with always including "tweet tweet" in his tweets. (Did that make any sense?)
-I have been reading a lot of Pete Wentz's blogspot-posts today. That guy is amazing. I don't think I'll ever get bored of him or his words.
-So,
Jon Walker and Eric Ronick made some music together. I really like Eric's voice. I have listened to Black Gold's album a lot and I love that. I love this as well! Mellow-y and fantastic. :)
