getting to know you
Positive characteristics:
I'm someone that can be completely relied on if help is needed. I would then do all in my power to help. I'm not in the business of breaking promises and leaving people to fend for themselves. Despite often being in that position myself.

Imaginative and creative. I'd say i'm pretty quick off the mark and possess a wide knowledge of many different, and usually quite obscure, things.

I'm passionate about what I believe in and love. To the point where I can end up thoroughly neglecting pretty much everything else. Especially my own mental and physical well being. All of which probably shouldn't be in the positive characteristics section, I know. Sorry for the tangent.

Compassionate to those who need compassion, merciful to those who deserve mercy and just when I need to be just - I can read situations extremely well.

I always give everyone a chance when I first meet them. But it's then up you whether or not you're worth my friendship and loyalty.
Negative characteristics:
I'm an absolute perfectionist, which can make me come across as rather arrogant and egocentric to those that aren't used to me. Which, in a sense, I suppose I am as I always feel I can do one better than anyone else. My standards for myself as well as other people are ridiculously high.

I'm incredibly self-deprecating, cynical and pessimistic. I always have been and see there being no change in the future. Frankly, I can be a horrible person to be around sometimes. Sorry about that.

I'm rather blunt and do not sugarcoat. I sometimes come across as a little harsh because of it.
Neutral characteristics:
I'm a tad on the morbid side, as well as being a little bit odd and weird. All in a charming way, or so i've been told.

I love learning, and need to be stimulated otherwise I go stir crazy. My mind is often running a mile a minute, with an endless amount of thoughts and ideas.

I also love 'eureka!' moments. Working something out is such a fantastic feeling. It validates your power of purely being alive.
Quote that describes you: 'To get back my youth I would do anything in the world, except take exercise, get up early, or be respectable.' - From The Picture of Dorian Gray by Oscar Wilde.
Motto that you live by (if different from above): I don't really have one.

Song with a sample of lyrics: I Lied My Face Off by Alkaline Trio
Well it's not fair
It's not even close
You tied me down
Where I'm forced to watch as you poke holes
In every part of me
Containing something secretly
Something sacred to me

Well I lied my face off
When I said that I would be okay
It's never fine when you go away
These cuts run deep these scars are permanent
And always on display
This makes things difficult for me

Well It's not fair
It's not even close
You fed me the sun
Burned me up inside and watched me choke
On everything we did
On everything we lived
Let's see if I can live again
this or that
Are you more - there is room for both; please explain.
Abstract or Concrete: It's important to consider ideas of both nature. I enjoy being abstract in my thinking just as much as I enjoy being concrete.
Adventurous or Homey: I love my home and being with my family, but there's nothing I enjoy more than seeing and experiencing new things.
Agreeable or Distant: Agreeable if I don't care about the outcome, and am apathetic towards the situation. Otherwise relatively distant, probably.
Cheerful or Melancholy: Melancholy.
Clever or Pretty: Clever.
Concise or Wordy: Wordy.
Creative or Traditional: Creative.
Emotional or Logical: It depends, of course. If i'm emotionally invested for what ever reason, obviously i'd be more emotional in general. But I like to think that I can retain a level of logic even when feelings come into play. Though, it is important to listen to both when coming to any important decision.
Extroverted or Introverted: Somewhere in the middle. Neither one of the other. But it does fluctuate.
Fighter or Lover: I'd prefer to be a lover, and probably am at my core, but I often have to be a fighter.
Flexible or Stubborn: Stubborn.
Free-spirited or Practical: Somewhat free spirited.
Goody-two-shoes or Naughty: Well, the line between the two wobbles every now and then. But my intentions are good, none the less.
Helpless or Independent: Independent.
Impulsive or Planner: Impulsive.
Mental or Physical: Mental.
Modest or Vain: Modest.
Subdued or Vivacious: Again, a healthy median.

test me; know me
The follow questions are optional - if you know the answer, please respond. If you are unsure, feel free to leave blank.
What is your Myers-Briggs personality type? Would you agree? ( Test )
Analytical thinker - http://www.ipersonic.com/type/AT.html
What are your highest intelligences according to Gardner?
Musical, Intrapersonal, Linguistic.
What is your alignment?

Chaotic Neutral.
A chaotic neutral character follows his whims. He is an individualist first and last. He values his own liberty but doesn't strive to protect others' freedom. He avoids authority, resents restrictions, and challenges traditions. A chaotic neutral character does not intentionally disrupt organizations as part of a campaign of anarchy. To do so, he would have to be motivated either by good (and a desire to liberate others) or evil (and a desire to make those different from himself suffer). A chaotic neutral character may be unpredictable, but his behavior is not totally random. He is not as likely to jump off a bridge as to cross it.

Chaotic neutral is the best alignment you can be because it represents true freedom from both society's restrictions and a do-gooder's zeal.

Chaotic neutral can be a dangerous alignment because it seeks to eliminate all authority, harmony, and order in society.

What is your zodiac symbol? Does it fit you? ( Western / Chinese / Celtic )
Western - Scorpio
Old and wise beyond the average, Scorpios often know all the answers, except sometimes; they too often have difficulty finding what they need to develop their own happiness.

Most Scorpios are winners. The main thing they have to worry about is their attitudes, which make up their mind powers and can either make or break them. When they are negative about something or someone, or critical of themselves, they can tend to get in their own way.
Chinese - Snake
Snakes do work very hard, but they have a tendency to be job-hoppers as they become easily bored. Their somewhat laid-back attitude causes them to be mistakenly categorized as slackers, but nothing could be further from the truth! Snakes are very creative and extremely diligent. They’re excellent problem-solvers and thrive under tight deadlines.
Celtic - Reed, The Inquisitor
You dig deep inside to the real meaning of things and discover the truth hidden beneath layers of distraction.
Do you have any siblings? What order are you?
I have one younger brother.
Would you consider yourself religious or spiritual?
No. I'm much more open to paranormal and supernatural ideas. But I do find religion interesting.
would you rather
These are very extreme opposites, meant to be difficult to choose. Pretend you're being forced to decided one or the other.
Sacrifice yourself to save your friends or save them by marrying the villain? I'd sacrifice myself in a heartbeat it that guaranteed their safety for the rest of their lives, but if marrying the villain keeps me alive so I can then watch over them and make sure the deal is set in stone, then I would go for that option. Maybe i'm too paranoid over the fact that promises may be broken once i'm gone. I'm more use with my blood still pumping.
Fight to the death or have someone else rescue you? Well, of course i'd rather not die.
Live in a land of deadly dinosaurs, atrocious aliens, or mythical monsters? Atrocious aliens.
Wear a crown or corset or combat boots? Or all three? Combat boots.
Sneak into the enemy’s lair or break down the front door guns a-blazing? Usually i'd say whatever delivers the best result, but i'll go with sneak in this time.
Have superpowers and have thousands of enemies or be ordinary and forgettable, but safe? Superpowers.
Live with your loving family, but never leave home or not have anyone close to you, but go on adventures? Go on adventures, but have no one close to me.

the hero in all of us
Would you travel in a group or be a loner? What role in the group would you fill? I'd most definitely be a loner. But I like meeting new people, so I wouldn't be adverse to joining up with someone every now and then.
What would be your costume? What I usually wear. Black skinny jeans, scruffy boots or trainers and a military style jacket.
What would be your weapon of choice? I'd rather not use a hand held weapon, but if there's absolutely no choice, just some sort of gun.
Would you have a sidekick or pet? No and no. I wouldn't mind working with someone, though. As when you meet someone who can match you in a million different ways, it can be the greatest thing.
Any special powers? I'd rather have some marvel (no pun intended) of technology á la Tony Stark's Iron Man suit.
If you could invent any device, what would it be and what would it do? See above.
What sub-genre would you be a part of? (romance/comedy/action…) Thriller.
What conflict would you prefer? (man v. man, man v. wild…) Man v. alien.
