The Cave was so boring despite the fascinating idea OMG, seriously! Anyway...

I did consider V for you, as I think he'd be a reasonably good fit but I'm definitely thinking more Rorschach for you! Your personality traits really fit. The fact that you are more an introvert/loner type, very passionate about things plus your answer to believer/skeptic reminded me so much of him it's not even funny!

I'm going with a Rorschach, vote as well. I have to admit that I'm not familiar with this character, but after reading a bit about him I think is a good fit.I never would have thought of him but now that he's been mentioned I think he totally works for you.

I considered V as well, but I do think Rorschach is an excellent choice and a good match for your personality traits. He's skeptical of people and Watchmen as a whole is pretty damned dark, so that fits your preferences as well, and oh yes, the mask.
