OTP QUOTES: I find this quote to be very representative of both Fakir and Ahiru. Fakir is the failed knight who can't find his purpose in the story and Ahiru is a duck trying to pass off as a heroine and not really knowing how to do it properly.
SYMBOLS: The pendant Ahiru wears around her neck is both a symbol of her existence as Princess Tutu - and is actually the one thing that keeps her in human form - and the essence of the Prince's heart. It's literally one of the last and best guarded shards of his heart!
SERENDIPITY: This is one of the first moments that Fakir smiles willingly at Ahiru. His first offering of peace and - somewhat reluctant - friendship.
SIN: Fakir trying to kill Ahiru with a glass shard...or at least attempting to injure/scare her. He manages well and the text sums up his creed for a good portion of the whole show. xDD
HUMOR: *chuckles* Ahiru jumping out of the water - in anger, forgetting that she had just transformed and that she wasn't wearing anything - and poor Fakir losing it.
THIRD PARTY: I thought of using someone else as a third party, but Mytho is really the most representative choice since Fakir, Ahiru and Mytho make a triangle of tangled feelings almost until the lost episode.
