Other "stuff" I'm watching...
I'm all over the map with my viewing habits right now. Those that have read my entries know the current shows I'm following... You can add one more to this batch:
Legend of the Seeker, which is based on the Sword of Truth series. I love the books. I've watched the first 4 episodes of the syndicated series so far... and it's pretty good. True to the author's claims the plot doesn't directly follow the book, but the themes and ideas remain unscathed. Some of the new plot elements introduced smooth the jagged and savage parts of the novel that may not be screen appropriate for TV. The result so far is the story doesn't carry the same emotional highs and lows that rivets the reader. So far my opinion is that this series is a "soft" version of Terry Goodkind's series.
