[Multiple Locks]

[Locked to Martha]

You make me forget how to speak.

And then your kindness reminds me what it means to be home, a place I have avoided to much in my own life, looking for grander things.

[Locked to the Doctor]

Did you ever finish my quarto of Hamlet? Your handwriting is so much less painful.

...

I don't believe I make you do anything.

I'm glad to hear that you're settling in alright though. You are settling in alright, aren't you?

If make is perhaps not the right diction, what ought I be using?

Thinking of you makes me lose my words, for better or for worse. Or maybe, thinking of you makes me think better. It is difficult, either way.

I have settled fair enough. Here and there, I have gotten into my own trouble, but what is life without? I am working on a novel, and a lovely young miss (too young for me, perhaps), is helping me prepare it.

All in all, it is nice being in the same universe as you once again. And if there is anything I have learned in my life, Lady Martha, I am adaptable.

I think I'd much prefer it if thinking of me didn't change a thing, but I realize that there's not much choice in the matter at least there never was for me or I would have chosen differently back then.

Do I want to know about this trouble you've gotten yourself into?

I'm glad to hear you're working on a novel and that you've made friends though that's not surprising. You're a friendly person.

Of course, you are. I had complete faith, and I'm glad to hear you're doing as well as can be expected. If you need anything, feel free to get a hold of me one way or another.

There must be some pride in saying you are the lone entity in the universe that can drain my well of words and bestow them upon me just as easily.

Trouble... No, I do not think you want to hear of my troubles. Although, if you do want to hear what trouble I have been getting up to, I could not say no to another night of drinks. If it makes you more comfortable, it may not just be the two of us?

Maybe a little. A very little! I don't enjoy being able to drain anyone of their words!

Why wouldn't I want to hear of them, Will? You are my friend, yeah?

I'm not afraid of being alone with you. I can handle it. Name the time you're free! I'll take you out on the town!

And I would say that you are mine, yet you still have not burdened me with yours.

When am I not free? My novel is currently being looked over by a seventeen-year-old girl and I write. You, Lady Martha, are the one with a schedule.

I really do need to be looking for more steady work. It does not seem like playwrights are this common now.
