I got dragged to the new Pirates movie.
So, wth was that.
The lameo love story was really bugging me. I can't believe a bunch of well-educated professionals sat down and came up with "OMG LET'S HAVE THEM GET MARRIED ON THE BOAT DURING A FIGHT!" "OMG YEAH!" "YOU GET A PROMOTION"
I was so glad when Octoman stabbed Will! Then he came back and I was having a >_< moment. I just wanted him to not be in the movie or at least killed later on.
I couldn't keep my eyes off Elizabeth's hardcore botox and rhinoplasty! It was great when she tried to smile, and couldn't move her upper lip because it's had so much botox.
Anyway, I was mostly confused regarding the plot and what was going on. I don't even really know why they were fighting or why there was a whirlpool to the other world or whatever to begin with. And what even happened between Calypso and Octoman?
The good side: I like when they put in the little allusions to the ride, like the dog with the key and the audio from the ride during a blackout. Also, the whole aesthetic of the scene in Singapore was pretty cool.
