I was watching Miyazaki's Nausicaa today for the first time, and about halfway through I saw this somewhat cliche love story beginning. I got kind of annoyed and had to turn it off =\

Update on grad school: I can do University of Phoenix online or on one of their 8 bazillion minicampuses all over everywhere. You only need a 2.5 GPA and you don't even need a GRE score. It's my backup plan (it's always comforting to have one). If anyone asks me where I got my degree, I can just mumble to them, "UNIVERSITY OF phenrodcsx." But really, it's not even that serious. I can do just fine with my BA, and maybe some AmeriCorps or Peace Corps experience after graduation (though I'm not really sure what I'd be doing, I can't imagine what I'm learning being applied in a practical setting).
I've been reading this blog a lot. It's a pretty popular journal of an Iraqi woman and her perspective on the current events in Iraq. However, since it is an individual person's blog, I am wary of its biases. Also, it is a webpage, after all, so I also reserve just a bit of skepticism regarding its authenticity (which I also have for all of you [I have been e-fooled before] of course <3).
