Dementors sighted in London
Several citizens have reported seeing glimpses of Dementors around the London area. Where a glimpse could be deceiving, there's no doubt about the unhappiness and coldness that clings to these figures.
Mrs Valerie Thompson was among those unfortunate ones to encounter a Dementor just yesterday. "I thought it came towards me," she says. "I was frozen with terror and such awful loneliness that I thought my heart would break." So stricken was Mrs Thompson that she didn't remember how to divert a Dementor. "But then it veered off, heading for the area near the river where the fog is heavier."
As all know by now, the Dementors left their station at the Azkaban prison some time ago, and have not been

seen much since then, apart from one or two rare occasions (an attack on Harry Potter last year apparently being one of them).
The Ministry has drawn the conclusion that it is You-Know-Who who controls them now, and a source, who wishes to be anonymous, claims that he's going to unleash their terror upon us soon.
The sightings, together with the thickening fog, have several Ministry workers worried, and an investigation has been launched. Our source tells us that one theory that has been talked about is close to being mythical: it is believed that the Dementors are breeding. But as of yet, this theory has not been confirmed, so until the Ministry announces it, it is still only a hypothesis, albeit a disturbing one.
Curious as well, is that there have been few sightings of Dementors in the rest of the country; they seem to be gathering around the London area.
