After seeing Mrs. Davies and the youngest daughter off, Albus sat back down and banished the used teacups to the kitchen, two new pairs appearing in their place.
He penned a quick owl to Remus.
Dear Remus,
I would like to speak with you at your convenience, but preferably before lunch today. I have a meeting with Hagrid at eleven, but do not expect it to take longer than 30 minutes. If you could see me in my office then, I would be grateful.
Albus
He sent it off with a summoned owl and sat back to relax for a bit.
He had more meetings this morning and he would not think of the extra ordinary assembly of the Wizengamot he had been called to attend this afternoon. It could only be a dreary hourlong pointless discussion of matters they had no control over. Not yet, at least.
Hagrid would be first, and Albus smiled at the thought. Remus on the other hand would be more ... difficult. He had not spoken with the man since last Sunday, and it saddened him Remus had not approached him. Perhaps it would have been more kind to inform, or rather alert Remus separately of Pettigrew's resurfacing and turn-about. But kindness ... would have to take second priority in these times.
(OOC: Both meetings can be played out at the same time, in separate threads :) )
