Dear Professor Hagrid,
I’m very interested in the position as Teaching Assistant that you are offering.
From my first year here at school on, Care of Magical Creatures was my favourite subject and I always was fascinated by the variety and beauty of them. Never did any of them bite, scratch, burn or kick me. The unicorn we studied in fourth year even let me touch it.
Since I plan on working with the creatures after school - probably as a healer for them - I have read most of the books in the library that could give me information on them. Being able to study them closer as a TA would certainly give me a head start at the university.
I do not mind hard work or bad smells.

P.S.: I am a member of the photo club and if you chose me for the position, I would like to take photos of the creatures. Many of the drawings in the books are not too close to reality and it might help students in the first years.
