(no subject)
So. Have two completely torn ligaments--one doc said probably happned when I bike my lef ankle 12 (or so?) yrs ago. The other happened this time. Need surgery to reattach ligaments and stretch other tissue from top of foot over the area(?) to further stabilize the ankle. The good news is that I have insurance. Cannot afford what insurance will likely leave us to pay, but we will just have to start making payments. :(. Doc says procedure lasts 45 min. I will be in a splint--ankle immobile for I can't remember how long. Then a cast. Then this boot thng again, and Physical therapy. 4 months.
