ok, so i will try to find words for this
last night saw the realization of many dreams, the coming-together of many seemingly opposite forces. validation. surprise, and soooo much laughter :)
did my first live interviews, both were very different, both went really well. got the answer to a question that had been percolating in my head for MANY years. there was one point where staff members of 3 different music magazines were standing around laughing and joking and hugging each other. wait? aren't we all supposed to be enemies? LOL.
i realize that we have in all of us right now the power to actually ignore the "how it's supposed to be" and make things how we want them to be. no i don't mean in a political sense. i mean that if you don't like the dance, take 2 steps to the left and then just dance the way you want to. there is a good chance that other people have been waiting for someone else to do it first.
you don't have to be anyone's mentor or hero or leader. just do your thing. it will make YOU happier, and might inspire someone else to makes themselves happier :)
