One of those days when the good things are equal to the bad...
OK, I can't hold it in anymore! You are all gonna hate me so much for this...! Yesterday, Me, Justin, Mother, Nik and Dick went to Airlie beach for the day. I saw my fair share of breaticles (FUCK YEAH!) but I also went for a walk into the Leading Edge shop that imports a heap of shit from overseas. Anybody that has bought shit from there and knows my music tastes well should know what I'm getting at... I spent $70 (and it was well worth it might i add) and I bought 'The Love Metal Archives Vol. 1'... A DVD release from one of the best bands ever... HIM!!! MMMM YES! It is a 'LIMITED EDITION", '2 DISC SET', with the video clips for every single, a shitload of live clips, and the 'BAM VS HIM' disc. BAM VS HIM is a documentary of all the clips BAM directed for HIM and my god it's funny! Ask Dick!! He was lucky enough to see it! Actually there is a funny story to this DVD...
I go to the shop and ask if there are any HIM DVD's. He pulls it out from what appeared to be a stash spot on the shelf. Anyways, I had to borrow ONE FUCKING DOLLAR off Dick cause I was short... Pretty sad ay? Anyways, the whole way home I am all bouncy on the inside like i was when I saw slipknot live. I'm not saying that I don't love slipknot anymore. I was just really excited cause I had so much HIM shit in my hands. So I get home and put it in Nik's cpu to watch it. I get a message telling me that the region is wrong. Now when I bought the DVD I checked to see it was PAL format (if you don't understand this shit then don't worry, I'm only just grasping it) so I though I was safe with the region as well but I was wrong. I tried our DVD player but it didn't work either. I was really disappointed but I thought I'd just burn it and watch it, not as good as watching the real thing, but it beats how many hours of downloading Dick?!! But then mum had to go and ask 'what if it wont burn?' So in a feardful frenzy, I ring Dick and get the shops phone number so I caould ring him and give abuse if all else failed. I am still pretty pissed off that he 'neglected' to tell me that it wouldn't work on australian DVD players...
I get up at 9am and race to dad's so I can burn the DVD. I had no problem copying the DVD so I was relieved. ONLY FOR A MINUTE THOUGH! The DVD was only 61MB too large to fit on a DVD disc. That really pissed me off cause I had compressed the total DVD by 55% and it would shrink anymore... I used another program and I got the dvd onto the computer no problem, but I couldn't burn it with the shit that was on dad's computer. I didn't want to sit around for three hours to try it on my computer and it fai again so I go to ring Leading Edge (the time now being 12pm). But I had a guardian angel watching over me I did! Dad walks through the door and I just spill my guts in an emotional rage and he turns around and says 'Have you tried it on our player yet?' I said it wouldn't work but he did it when I wasn't watching. I come downstairs to see dad watching my DVD and I just screamed! So pissed off at myself for not trying it in the firstplace!! GRRR! I called Dick up and we watched MOST of the shit on the disc's. I'll save the rest for another occasion.
My god I feel like I've been wearing this steel vest all day and have just taken it off.
Alright I have to go to Macca's and get dad's food. I just think it's funny that we're pretty much screwed if Tanya isn't home to feed us guys. We CAN cook but it's only the basic stuff. I'm working on some meatballs with this wicked sauce but I want to perfect it before I serve it again. Dad and Tanya like my first try but I didn't... MEH!

Right, I had one of those days when every time something good would happen, something bad would come along and piss me off. On the way to get Dick to watch this FABULOUS DVD of mine, a car nearly rear ended me. what pissed me off even more and freaked me out a little bit was that I was well and truly stopped at a roundabout. The dickhead wasn't looking where he was going! He braked but had to swerve to miss me. NO JOKE, he stopped halfway past my car... I was FREAKED! And when we went to Airlie Beach, Justin locked his keys in the car (which he will explain futher on his journal) and he was a real shitter! I warned Dick before he got into the car that Justin was shitty and then he whitnessed Justin totally massacre everyone in the car! Verbally that is... Not good!
I also had a chat with Tanya last night. On Wednesday, I'm FINALLY getting my matress! SNAPS FOR ME! I'm also moving the cpu into my room. That means my bedside table (that is nowhere NEAR my bed) and my tv, video, dvd, etc. will be moved into justin's room. Only problem is the TV has blown up! So Justin will have nothing for the moment. I'm gonna cop it from him later when he finds out. But I spose that's a good thing that it's blown, otherwise he'd never get off his GC when both of them are over...
It was Carrol-anne's birthday on Thursday so me, Dick and Justin when to the andergrove tavern on Friday to celebrate with her. I couldn't stay long OR drink cause I had work the next day. It's just this thing I have with staying up late when I have work in the morning. I broke even on the pokies while Carrol won $40 and Justin spent LOTS of money's all night. Justin and Dick came into work the next day to bother me... I was busy all day but they caught me while I was downstairs so I talked to them for a while. And Tracy must of had a good perv on Justin cause she finally realised that we were twins... HA! It's pretty sad though, i've been working there for nearly three years now... right I'm leaving now!
