Today i went out to valley park cuz all the horses where out there b/c of the B show. whizzy is better, and im riding him in the show. ok whizzy hadnt been riden or turned out in almost two weeks...so when i got him, he was crazy. when we were cantering, he was just doing these little baby bucks...i was holding his head up far so he wouldnt buck really hard...but he did anyway, and i fell off. lol. it didnt hurt...i just fell on my side. i got up and decided he needed to be chased around for a while. so rene and i let him run around in the ring for a while. he ran fuckin hard... then i got back on, and i was just walking him around and all of a sudden he took off at a dead gallop...he spooked b/c there was a deer on the railroad tracks right outside of the ring. and fuckin hell this horse was going FAST. i had the reins so short and i was pulling so hard. lol, i didnt think he was gonna stop. but he did...and i got off again, and lunged him for a while. then i got back on and walked and trotted him for a little bit untill he calmed down. so tonight was interesting...lol it was like a rodeo. well, he just hadnt gotten out and been ridden for a while so he was really fresh...hopefully he wont be like that tomorrow or durring the show.
