Holy mother of pearl!

That's what I have to say about the weather today. It just sucked. There are just no articulate words I can use for it. It was the first day of life guarding, and it had to imitate a monsoon. On the bright side (ironic saying perhaps?), I got the promotion I applied for, so now I'm not only guarding lives, I'm the assistant manager of the pool, which means I get paid $1.50 more than I did last summer. So all an all I really can't complain. Just with the weather would reflect my temporary contentedness and calm down.

The only thing is that I started my first PATD slash fic, and by started I mean got about 3 sentences out before my brain shut down again. I have the general concept, and I know exactly where I want it to go an all, I just can't seem to get it out onto the computer screen. If I could finish it tonight, I wouldn't even give the weather a second thought. er maybe I'll write it into the story somehow. I dunno.

I'm also excited about the fact that the sunglasses I ordered from Torrid are finally here. Crazy odd yet awesomely epic (read that word in a fic today, and I love it ;) ) sunglasses. "Pretty much in the top ten of your life. How strange." as Tucker said once. If you only knew how true that was.

bad weather, fan fiction, slash, life guarding, sunglasses, panic at the disco
