Dear RL-People That I Know-
I understand that you all think I'm some kind of backstabbing cow, because contrary to how I've voted in the past, I'm voting a different way in this election. I'm sorry that you can't/won't understand why I'm doing so, and that's why I've stopped responding to you when you bring it up. I *never* bring it up, just so I don't have to hear it. Asking me for my opinion, and then shouting over me, or not letting me explain isn't really fair, now is it?
I'm not a 'traitor' to my usually preferred party; I don't dislike (and never will) anyone based on their age, gender, race, etc., and those reasons would never be why I did/didn't vote for someone, so please stop asking. You should all know me by now, and realise that I'm not like that. You're being stupid and highly offensive.
Asking me to take you places in my car is fine, but not when all you do is use those rides as an opportunity to berate me (read: yell at me) for my political ideas. I don't mind having political discussions usually, but only when it's a give and take, non-screaming discussion. By the way, I have never (and will never) berate you for your ideas.
Hopefully, once this election is over (and no matter which way it goes), we can get back to some semblance of normalcy. Because for the most part, I do sort of like you guys.
Hopefully.
Too bad none of you will actually read this,
-Me
P.S. Asking some random person on the street who they're going to vote for isn't so bad. However, when they respond with your preferred candidate, screaming out, 'ANOTHER ONE FOR OUR SIDE! IN YOUR FACE! HOW DO YOU LIKE *THAT*!?' at me, really isn't cool. Not cool at all.
