Hair trial success!

So after a few hiccups, I had a great hair trial down in Florida over the weekend! I ended up going to a different salon than I had originally planned but I am pleased with the results. (Here is my inspiration.)

Thanks! I was pleasantly surprised at how it looked after being taken down. I was expecting to look like the reincarnation of Medusa.

I did my own makeup and hair. If I had it to do over, I'd (1) do a different veil or headpiece, and (2) have my hair done; but given the veil I did wear I'd do it myself again. 'Twas just my natural curl, scrunched and just a little augmented in a couple of places. Makeup was just about the same as I wear every day. I have no idea why I'm reluctant, then and now, to turn my makeupping over to someone else. I guess maybe I just can't see splashing out the money on that when there are so many other things to spend on.

And I agree that it looked cute when you took it down, too-a bonus for the wedding night! *hubba hubba* ;)

Yeah, that is my concern too-- whether it's worth the money to spend on makeup artistry.
