Friday Night Lights
Hey everyone. I hope you all are enjoying the holidays :)
So I'm about to leave for my family's Christmas Eve fiasco that we put on every year, but first I just want to say how I have a new show that I'm in love with. It's called Friday Night Lights. I don't know if its that popular... I don't think it is though. I've been watching it on Netflix so I've just been flying through the episodes, but I must say that after you really get into it, it's quite brilliant.
It's about a high-school football team in Texas, and it centers around the lives of some of the players, the coach, his family, and just how these people in this small town get so connected by football. It's the heart of the town, and it's really all they have to be proud of.
The first few episodes were tough. I'm a girly-girl, so football isn't really my thing. But once they go more into detail about the characters, you start to love them. And you start to love the games too. Now when I watch it, I get so into the game that I find myself yelling at the television.
It's so realistic. Sometimes I feel like I'm watching a really good reality show.
