weekend
friday - went out to Rob's house. went to TGIFriday's for dinner. my friend gennie works there and i was hoping she would be working. she wasn't :( and i wasn't very impressed by TGIF :( but when you are out in the boonies like Rob is, there aren't many dining choices.
saturday - went to the gym with Rob. he tried to teach me how to play basketball (i haven't played since high school gym). we went to dinner at Dragon Inn (where we went on our second date oooohhhh enter mushy noises here). met up with people at the Bier Stube in Peotone. i started drinking because Rob said he would drive my car. then Rob started drinking ("what can i do when people buy me drinks!" was his excuse) so i stopped drinking. left the Bier Stube to go to Flossmoor Station to meet up with more people (including my brother Steve). apparently now they do karaoke at Flossmoor Station on Saturdays. Steve sang this song about the Edmund Fitzgerald (a ship that sank on Lake Superior). John sang Mandy by Barry Manilow. Loren, Paula and Jackie and Oh-Blah-Di Oh-Blah-Da.
sunday - watched the Bears game. my mom made pork roast. Rob and I went to see Harry Potter. it was good.
i'm taking Wednesday off and I have Thursday-Friday off. Woo hoo, 5 day weekend.
