This is what I do instead of my Race & Ethnic Relations midterm project thing.
"An in-class presentation on your definitions and research on the subject of "who are my people". The presentation defines what groupings you place yourself in and/or your concepts of ancestry and culture as it relates to practices, beliefs, norms, values, religion, food, marriage, family, etc. This can be creative (interviews with family members, photos, videos, dance, etc) or a standard informative presentation format.--25% of grade" (due Tuesday 10/10 at 12:30)
Well, now that I have an answer and all I need to do is brush up on some presentation work and make some visuals, I can slack off and do shit until it's really crunch time. Like this. Like looking at con photos on fuuse, and finding this gold:
Clearly this is a photo of the 3 girls in the foreground, but if you look a little harder just to the right of them in the midground, is a man with a sign saying something like "an eye for an eye..." Yeah man. That should've been the focal point for that photo.
