but I could probably just as easily pick it up in person, because, we're cool like that living in the same city and all.

Yeah dude, it'd be way cheaper (ok, so only like $1 cheaper, but still) to just ride the trains/buses right up to your door and deliver it. OOH! Do you have a mail slot I could slip it through, I don't remember but please say yes!!
